Helping others navigate life’s challenges is my passion. As a clinical social work associate, I’ve dedicated my career to empowering individuals and families to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

With over a decade of experience, I’ve honed my skills in evidence-based practices, including Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and Trauma-informed Care. I find that combining these methodologies enables me to tailor my approach to meet the individual needs of my clients.

My approach is rooted in empathy and active listening, allowing me to create a safe and supportive environment where my clients feel valued and understood. Whether it’s addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, or whatever brings my clients in, I strive to empower them to pursue resilience and discover their inner strengths.

I know firsthand that changes can be challenging and sometimes fearful. I find fulfillment in helping my clients navigate these challenges and transforming those uncertain moments into opportunities for growth.

Bio

After walking through some difficult paths in life, I decided to get a master’s degree in social work so I could continue to be a source of support and encouragement for others, but with more than just my lived experiences. I wanted to be able to help others professionally because I know the value of having someone be there for you. My commitment to my clients goes beyond our sessions. I am committed to continuous learning and professional development.

I am passionate about community enhancement and knowing the resources within my community. I am also passionate about knowing and understanding our justice system. This dedication not only enhances my skills as a therapist but also enriches the therapeutic experience I can offer my clients.

Throughout my journey, I have worked with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, each bringing their unique experiences and struggles to our sessions. You will often hear me say that some of my greatest knowledge comes from the people I have walked beside. I believe that every client comes with their own story, and it is my privilege to be a part of that narrative.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy watching football in the fall and winter, planting a garden in the spring, and floating the river in the summer.
